A park. I’d like to go to Inokashira Park.

5x10 Arashi Anniversary Tour (Tokyo Dome)

I'm supposed to do this review 2 days ago, since I've watched the DVD, uh, 2 days ago.
Time constraints, should I say?- Lol. For a bum like me, I've got lots of time on my hand. And on my pocket.

THE SCENE:
Friday. I have no class but decided to leave the house, pretending that I am off to school. Bad idea. Without nowhere to go, I spent my money on jeepney fares going to and from nowhere. As long as I'm not in the house, that's fine.

Then I decided to go to the ever- great DVD stalls in one of the old-and-soon-to-die mall here at Las Pinas, the place where I also bought Arashi DVD 8-in-1 concert plus 2 subbed episodes of Mago Mago Arashi.

Just looking, not really interested on buying something, I found this.

The cover

Yes. The 5x10 Arashi Anniversary Tour..which actually costs around 3,500+php (not sure at this moment) sold by some Japanese store here in the Philippines. I have the torrent DL already, with the Digest. Now I'm wondering why do I have to buy it when I already have my own torrent copy of it?

The answer: I want to watch it on our TV. Yes. And what's with the TV?
The answer: Since it's a LCD tv (^_^), might as well use it to watch Arashi cons. You know. The bigger, the better.

I decided to get a job 2 months ago and it's purely because I want to purchase the original DVD.
(Please don't ask me what happened...Obviously it's a fail...-_-)

Oh well, back to the entry.

Mai felt something as she press the start button of the DVD remote.
GOOSEBUMPS.

1. Their names being flashed on the screen with their birthdays and heart- stopping picture.
2. Kansha Kangeki Ame

• When I heard Sho-kun's voice. My goose bump started. And as soon as the boys flew up in the air, I can't help but to worry Sakurai-kun. (You know, his fear of heights.)
  

3. Pikanchi (Aiba Masaki's solo)

• I remembered that I read something saying that Masaki-kun is having a hard time memorizing his dance steps. Who would say that he's like that after watching his solo and his dance? Oh my..Are you sure you're having a hard time catching up on dancing? You liar! =D

4. Allergy

• The veggie dance and a small moving screen showing their performance in their past concert wearing cute little baby bodies.

5. Carnival Night

• I really love this song. Whenever they sing this one, I just felt so energized! Kyaa~ *makes hand dance in the tune of Canibaru Night~~*

6. Kotoba Yori Taisetsuna Mono (Kazunari Ninomiya's solo)

• Just fine~ him doing the guitars is so cool..just like his previous solo performances.

7. Hitomi no Naka no Galaxy and Aozora no Pedal

• More goosebumps! Being sung one after the other.
  

8. Typhoon Generation

• I honestly didn't know why everybody screamed as Nino says his one line shot on this song..To satisfy my curiosity, I had to look for the song's english translation.

Romanji: jaa itte kuru kara, sayonara ja nai yo ne mata aeru kara
English:  Well, I'm leaving, but this isn't goodbye, 'cause we'll meet again
(or maybe the way he delivered it made the fans scream wild♥)

9. Kumorinochi, Kaisei (Ohno Satoshi's solo)

• *happiness* Isn't he cute? As he appeared on the stage, I thought "Kai-kai~~eh?" Yeah I know, the costume was from Uta no Oniisan. FAIL!
• With his background so colorful and childish, I can't help my self but to groove and jive on his performance- like an 8-year old kid.

10. A Day in our Life

• I liked it when Sho introduced this part grasping for audience's participation. I don't know what exactly did he said, but it seems like he wanted the audience to say "Oh Yeah" louder. Ah! I just love his expression at that moment.
  

11. Hadashi no Mirai

• Can't help but dance on this song! Imagine: Me, all alone, in front of the TV (so close I'm about to kiss it), raising hands and waving it with much energy. Amazing!
  

12. Beautiful Days

• After such a hyper performance, they seemed to lie-low a bit by singing this. Like serenading everybody, so soothing voice. nice time to relax since their last songs were a bit energetic. Goes well to me too, I can also rest after waving my hands like hell.

13. Tomadoinagara (Sakurai Sho's solo)

Sakusho- Tomadoinagara

• I super love his performance! And must admit I fell in love with him as he sang. His hair, his moves, his shiny jacket. Though his short yet simple dance doesn't really appeal to me. =(

14. Wish (Matsumoto Jun's solo)

Matsujun- WISH

• Sorry, but I think his solo was too long. The introduction and the dances and the intro again...kinda long. But nevertheless, sounds good. Singing it to a new variety is cool.

15. Attacfk It!

• The performance made me dance a lot (more than Hadashi). The funky sound and the super fast thing they're into..Superb!

16. Truth

It's hot! I'm burning! F*ck the fire, it made the perf amazing!

• THE BEST-EST PART OF THE CONCERT!
• I had every hairy part of my body rise again! Yes, every part...
• The performance moved me a lot. I mean, it's really cool.
• With the fire on the background, the beat, and Riida's voice.
• Everyone's flying! Totally amazing! But again, I'm wondering how Sho feels at that moment. His landing on stage is a fail.
  
• The whole time they were up above, my goose bump just get even bumper and bumper. 
• I want to be in Riida's shadow! =D
• The audience kept on screaming..and so am I. No wonder because they really did a great flying job. *Please fall on me, Ohno-kun!!!* XD
  

17. Ashita no Kioku

Darn, before and after? No difference...

• Oh~ The baby pictures! Feels like crying...
• Another goose bump moment as the pictures of them was shown at the super gigantic screen.
• I can clearly hear the audience say "Ahhh~" and "Awww~" and "Kyaa~". Even I can't help it too. Who could resist these boys charming baby photos?
• *Hey!* Saw Ninomiya laughed at Riida's baby photo..heheh...
  

18. A minute or more of silence...a VTR was shown, Arashi's activities since their debut were flashed on screen. Though I don't understand what they were saying and what's on the screen, I feel so happy for them. Their achievements and all, I'm just so proud of them. If they gave up earlier, we have no reason to flail and drool. Right?

19. A-RA-SHI

It'll be better if you made your undergarments transparent too..^_^

• Kyaa~ I like it! I like it! I like it! close to nakedness is so much fun! At that time I wasn't paying attention to the song, but on to their "see my near-to-naked body" suit! =9
• As their stage goes up, I felt like screaming too. Especially when Jun-kun does very cute gestures.
• Sho-kun. why hide the cute and adorable...nipples? ^_^

20. Kitto Daijoubu

Kitto Daijoubu/ Love so sweet

• I'm dying to learn this dance. -_- Seeing them dance this song makes me wanna learn how to do it too..

21. Believe

• Sho-kun, again, it's you. I super admire him on this performance. Imagine, he rapped his whole part exactly what he did on the song. His part is sure too long, I know it's very tiring for him to do it since they've been running and running on their previous song. Kudos to Sakurai-kun! *clap clap clap*
• The fireworks are so damn great! The crowd screamed again to the top of their lungs..and so am I.

22. Ending Speeches

• Honestly had no clue on what they were saying. *smashes head- I wish I do* But though I can't understand a bit, I can feel them and the words they're saying.
  

23. 5x10

Cry cry cry...The "arigato" part..♥

• CRAP! ANOTHER MOMENT OF GOOSE BUMPS!
  
• MY TEARS SERIOUSLY BEGAN TO FORM AND...='(
• I saw Aiba teary while singing.
• I know, even I, who was just watching on TV and not live got some kinda emotional too. What if I was really there? I bet I'm crying so much and too emotional.
• The pictures being shown on screen makes it more emotional. The past years they've been together really compliments on the song.
• It's not only Aiba-chan, I can also feel the other 4 wants to cry on that very moment. Now everyone's getting emotional, including me.
• But the best part of this song was when they sang the part "ARIGATO~". The music went blank for a moment, the balloons flew. (Seriously, I'm crying again~)
  

24. Encore

Wonderful shirts, Please give 'em to me~

• Okay, everybody knows that Arashi doesn't end their concerts like that. No way! More songs made the crown happy again. Oh Arashi, you sure never fails us!
• I love the shirts! Me want it too!

Matsumoto began his career in the entertainment industry when he joined the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates in 1996 at the age of 12. My first ichiban in Arashi.

I fell for him when Gokusen 1 was shown at a local TV station in the Philippines.

Since then I instantly became fond of him. I started searching about him- which then lead me on finding out Arashi's existence.

Actually, I didn't automatically became a fangirl of the group the day I discovered them. It took me quite a while to get fond to the group. At first my eyes were fixed on Matsujun (and raising eyebrows on Nino) while watching Sakura Sake- the first- ever video of Arashi I've watched.

(Okay we're going waaay too far from the birthday boy.)

I started to love Matsujun more:

1. Kimi Wa Petto
2. Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru (I Love My Younger Sister)

How did I became more fond of this bitch? (sorry. I used the term 'bitch' to emphasize his, uh, -_- Oh I just felt like using it.)

1. He's the ultimate "flirt" in the group. Whoever sits next to him becomes his boyfriend.

Jun + Aiba = JunBa

Sakurai + Matsumoto = SakuMoto

Matsumoto + Ninomiya = MatsuMiya

Jun + Satoshi = JunToshi

 
2. He does the best fan service in the entire universe. He don't need to use anyone, he himself can fulfill a fan girl's wet dreams.

 

3. He's the prettiest of all. (Note: You don't want to look ugly? Then stay away from him.)- Is that an advice or what?!

And being an elite Johnny member makes him more likable.

...(Matsumoto) received a phone call weeks later from president Johnny Kitagawa himself, inviting him to attend a rehearsal instead of being auditioned. Due to this, Matsumoto is frequently referred to as one of the elite within the agency.

Now I know why some fangirls call him "Princess Jun".

Okay let's resume, Kei-san was my first ichiban on NewS. Not Yamapi, not Ryo, but him. Actually until now, I'm a Kei-san bait. Uh, no..not anymore..I mean, another NewS member baited me.

Tegoshi Yuya

Tegoshi Yuya- Kei-san's rival. His role on the jdorama Yamato Nadeshiko made me fall for her, I mean, him. =D

Since that specific episode of him cross dressing, I instantly fell in love with this little young man.

I swear the role suits him so much. In the anime version, Yukinojo can both be pretty being a guy and a girl. In the live action, oh well, he can be both too. You'll fell for him as a guy and you'll also fell for him as a girl.

I love these two young, hot member of NewS. Not only because of their talents, blah blah blah, but also it's because they make the world of cross dressing much more exciting to me.

Stand Up!! (スタンドアップ!!, Sutando Appu!!^?) is a Japanese television drama which ran weekly for three months in 2003. The drama, which stars Kazunari Ninomiya of Arashi and Tomohisa Yamashita of NEWS, centers around the lives of the last four virgins left in their highschool as they struggle to lose their virginity over their final high school summer vacation. A 6-DVD Box Set featuring all eleven episodes, as well as six individual volumes were released in Japan on December 18, 2003.

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. Despite their childhood attraction to her, they realize she is a mere shadow of the "princess" they all thought they knew. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers.

Kenken is the only one of the group who, at the beginning of the series, has a girlfriend: Sonoko Fujisawa.

Yes, I love you more, Kenken♥ I'm not a Yamapi-bait ever since. But I must admit that he caught my attention. His role here is so gentleman and so ideal. Ohh..But how come you fall for Chie? =

Hayato Udagawa (Udayan)

Udayan (宇田川隼人, Udagawa Hayato^?, played by Hiroki Narimiya) is a member of the high school band. He is the one the girls (especially the group of four he calls the Amazones) pick on most, to which is added that his self-confidence is a little lacking, and that he has a certain affection for peeping under girl's skirts. His parents run a grocery store in the shopping district.

I wonder why, but I always see Hiroki- kun in dramas which also stars Oguri Shun like Gokusen and Tokyo Dogs..-_- Anyways, his role here is like so perv. Yeah, he's the most perv in the gang and I thought he's the one who will be out of the DB4...

Kōji Enami (Kō-kun)

Kōji (江波功司, Enami Kōji^?, played by Shun Oguri) is the sports ace of the group. He's in the school soccer team and is known for often letting out his anger that way. When talking to girls he often starts to mumble incomprehensibly, turning down all offers from them. His father, who is also the chairman of the local neighborhood meetings, runs a small shop.

Kawaii role. Silent but dangerous. The next popular in the gang. Obvs he's the captain of their school's soccer team. And oh, by the way, I love him to be paired with the girl who was the manager of the other school..I'm searching for her..They make a cute couple♥

Chie Ōwada (Chie-chan)

"It's you, Shou-chan!"

Chie Ōwada (大和田千絵, Ōwada Chie^?, played by Anne Suzuki) is the "childhood princess" the 4 friends knew 11 years ago, up until she had to move away with her parents. There was very little contact between her and the boys during the time span, and she seems to hide a dark secret within her. It is later revealed that during her high school year, she had a crush on one of her classmates, but he took advantage of the situation, raped her and threatened to blackmail her. To escape this awkward situation, and the rumors that soon started to spread, she set out on her journey to Togoshi, to meet her old childhood friends.

I hate her role here...but in the end, I started to understand why I hate her. She's 'pakialamera' and all, always with the boys and suddenly blurts out words eventhough not asked to. Hahah, Chie- chan, in the end, I loved you already. I understood that you we're like that because of the incident in your past. and I liked you because you didn't end up with Kenken..=D

Nothingness of the author:

1. The story is more about peer pressure.
2. It evolves much around the topic of them wanting to have sex before summer ends. Somehow explicit, not for family viewing. (I tell you.)
3. I've watched another Korean drama which is much like this one. 4 young boys, them being perv, having crush on their teacher and one character who also owns a love hotel.
   
4. Suzuki Anne's role kinda annoys me.
5. That Shun-kun's partner (soccer team manager from the 'high class' school) they look good in this drama. Too bad they didn't end up together.

Kazunari Ninomiya (二宮 和也 Ninomiya Kazunari^?), (born June 17, 1983), often called Nino (ニノ^?), is a Japanese idol, singer, songwriter, actor, seiyū and radio host.
